I'm Getting Married!!!!!

It's official... I'm engaged!  Sorry teacher friends, but this blog may now incorporate wedding planning thoughts and ideas!

New Classroom Tour!

As I mentioned in a previous post, I moved at the beginning of the summer and was fortunate enough to start at a new school this year!  Sorry they are late, but here are some pictures of my new classroom!

I found this dress at Old Navy for $29.99.  It was cute, but I hate spending the full price.  I really only like to buy things that are on sale or discounted.  (I am a teacher! ;) )  I decided not to buy it in hopes of finding something similar for cheaper!

My next stop: Target clearance section!  I found this dress for $7.99!  It is very similar and all I had to do was add a belt to make it perfect!  That's what I call a good deal!

Ten Minute wreath!

I got the itch to make another wreath for the fall.  I found this beautiful deep plum burlap and decided to use a twig wreath this time rather than the wire.

I used this to make the bow.

Here is the twig wreath I started with.

I bought clip-on flowers which made the process so easy!

I clipped on all of the flowers in about two minutes!

After clipping on the flowers, I hot glued the bow on the opposite side to balance it out.  In all, this wreath only took ten minutes!
