Ten Minute wreath!

I got the itch to make another wreath for the fall.  I found this beautiful deep plum burlap and decided to use a twig wreath this time rather than the wire.

I used this to make the bow.

Here is the twig wreath I started with.

I bought clip-on flowers which made the process so easy!

I clipped on all of the flowers in about two minutes!

After clipping on the flowers, I hot glued the bow on the opposite side to balance it out.  In all, this wreath only took ten minutes!

Classroom Window Decor

My new room has an entire wall of windows that needed some updating.  I decided to make a banner that would stretch across the windows adding some color to that wall.  My room consists of blues and greens (which I believe to be calming) so I bought scrapbook paper in blues and greens.

I cut the triangles all out and then hole punched each corner.  I laid them all out so that I could alternate the patterns.  (Excuse my knee)

I began stringing them on one at a time.  I made sure to keep the ribbon behind the triangle by looping it down first and then up.

I used clear command hooks to hook it to the windows.  Ta-da!

I'm Back!

Sorry it has been so long since I have made a post!   I completed my Reading Endorsement, moved to a new city, and got a new job!  I have been a busy gal!  With all of these changes come much fun though (especially since I love decorating and setting up a new classroom)!  I was lucky enough to be able to teach third grade at my new school so that made the transition a little easier!  I am not quite done getting my room together so pictures are on the way!  Keep following me as I post my classroom ideas, trendy and appropriate clothes for teachers, and fun diy projects!
